Gospels Part 4: The Ultimate Sacrifice

The gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, are the account of Jesus’ life and are unlike any other portion of the Bible. Each give a slightly different view of the last week of Jesus’ life. Here we get to watch Jesus walk into Jerusalem as a celebrity praised by the multitudes only to die a cruel death on the cross a few days later. Then, when all hope seemed lost, we see an empty tomb, a resurrected Savior, and an end of the consequences of sin for all. It truly is a picture of the ultimate sacrifice.

In this seven week Bible Study will be looking to answer three guiding questions to help us learn about Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice and what it means for our lives:

1. Who is Jesus?

2. What is the Gospel?

3. What is Discipleship?
