Proverbs

Proverbs

Most of us want to come to the end of our days with a life well lived and well loved. But how do we accomplish this feat? How do we take what we have been given in life and position ourselves for success?

The answer is Wisdom! And it can be ours. God promises that if we ask for Wisdom, He will give it to us. One of the ways that He does this is by placing in our hands a manual full of Wisdom that we call the book of Proverbs.

Proverbs can be our mentor over the next 40 days; teaching us how to understand, grasp, and use Wisdom just like God designed and created us to do. And once we grasp the Wisdom that God wants to give us, everything changes.

In this 40 day study we will:

  • Learn what Wisdom is and how it works.

  • Learn how to use Wisdom in our daily lives.

  • Grasp an understanding of the Fear of the Lord and how it relates to Wisdom.

  • Become familiar with the reference work of Wisdom that is the book of Proverbs.

  • Look more closely at topics such as: friendship, forgiveness, desire, alcohol, contentment, natural consequences, fools, pride, words, sex, parenting, justice, and many others.

  • Understand the Proverbs 31 woman and how we can become like her.

This book is designed to help you engage with God through His Word, as well as connect and grow within a community. Sections comes equipped with discussion/discipleship questions for you to use personally, in a discipleship relationship, or within a group.
